Professional Background and Education:

Originally from Colorado, Peter immigrated to Canada as a teenager. Settling in Saskatoon, SK, he attended the University of Saskatchewan, earning an undergraduate degree in Psychology. He then completed a Juris Doctor with Distinction at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law. He articled and worked as an associate at a firm in Saskatoon, appearing as counsel in all levels of Court in Saskatchewan on family, civil, and criminal matters.

Connection to the Kootenays:

In 2021, Peter relocated to the Kootenays to live in his wife’s hometown of Nelson, BC. He has since embraced the community, enjoying wilderness backpacking, trail running, and playing guitar. His deep appreciation for the Kootenay region enhances his commitment to serving its residents.

Commitment to Community

Peter volunteers his time as the chair of the board of the Nelson Museum and Gallery and serves as the President of the Kootenay Bar Association. His dedication to the community reflects his commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those around him.
